Warranty Policy
Last updated: August 3, 2026
1. Warranty Period
DrTono provides a 2-Year limited warranty for eligible products, beginning on the date the product is delivered to the original purchaser.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
2. What Is Covered
During the warranty period, DrTono covers defects in materials and workmanship that cause the product to fail under normal, intended use.
A covered warranty issue may include a product or component that:
- Does not operate as intended because of a manufacturing or assembly defect;
- Fails during normal use when operated in accordance with the applicable user manual and product instructions; or
- Does not meet its published functional specifications due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
This warranty applies to the DrTono device and the original included components, unless a component is specifically identified as consumable, disposable, or subject to normal wear.
3. DrTono’s Warranty Remedy
If a covered defect is confirmed during the warranty period, DrTono will determine the most appropriate service solution based on the nature of the issue.
At DrTono’s discretion, the remedy may include:
- Remote troubleshooting and technical guidance;
- Repair of the affected product or component;
- Replacement of the affected component; or
- Replacement of the product with a new or refurbished product of equivalent function.
Repair or replacement is the sole remedy available under this limited warranty. A repaired or replacement product will remain covered for the balance of the original warranty period or for 90 days after repair or replacement, whichever period is longer.
4. What Is Not Covered
This limited warranty does not cover issues resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic marks, scratches, dents, or discoloration that do not affect product performance;
- Improper use, misuse, abuse, accidents, drops, impact, liquid exposure, or improper storage;
- Use outside the product’s intended purpose or failure to follow the user manual, safety instructions, or recommended operating conditions;
- Unauthorized repair, modification, disassembly, alteration, or use of non-approved parts or accessories;
- Damage caused by improper electrical supply, power surges, fire, weather events, natural disasters, or other external causes;
- Consumables, disposable accessories, or components that naturally wear out through ordinary use, unless the issue is caused by a manufacturing defect;
- Products with a removed, altered, or unreadable serial number;
- Products purchased from an unauthorized seller or reseller.
This warranty does not guarantee clinical outcomes, diagnostic results, or suitability for a particular clinical application beyond the product’s stated intended use.
